But when you are new it is also one of the hardest jobs to start off with. Mainly because of the pressure and the nerves it will take to do the job right.
First thing you should do is to create a timeline of the events of the wedding and then list down all the shots that you have in mind for each event that will happen.That way you would be more organized during the wedding and you would know what you would do next and where you can take some break.By knowing all the shots that you would want to take you would be more relaxed and you will not miss any of it. The next thing you want to make sure you do is have a backup for all the important equipment you will use. You don’t know how many times equipment has failed in my San Diego photographer business.By bringing backups of all the things you would use you would be able to continue working even if one of the equipments of your camera would be broken.And you can save your face from being embarassed and losing some customers in the process. There is no worse feeling than the feeling of not being able to take pictures.
Last tip I can give is that you must know when to take charge during the shoot. As I said earlier a wedding day like most events are hectic days.If you are passive then yuor job would not be the best it can be. But if you are able to take charge you can get everything that needs to be done.Because if you do not impose yourself then you would not be able to complete the shots.
